- Built the support desk behind ~2,000 students/day. I spotted the gap and owned the intent-based ticketing system end to end: data model, architecture, backend and UI. Calls, WhatsApp and email land in one thread, and a student is recognised across all their phone numbers. RAG pulls up each student's history, so any executive can pick up a query cold. Query resolution became 40% more efficient.
- Replaced Freshworks with our own CRM and saved ~$12K/yr. I built lead assignment, conversations across WhatsApp, email and calls, canned responses, notes, search and ticketing, from schema to screen.
- Turned a manual sales process into self-service checkout. A state-machine-driven Stripe flow with multi-layer validation helped the product grow sales 40% year over year.
- Moved video calls to AWS Chime at 10,000+ hrs/month. I played a key role in the migration, then kept it reliable through monitoring, debugging and new features.
- Made failures safe with the Outbox pattern. A failed MongoDB write no longer fires a stray third-party call, and events are processed asynchronously and reliably across the codebase.
- Gave the team eyes on production. I introduced Prometheus, Loki and Sentry for metrics, centralised logs and error tracking, so incidents are traced from real data instead of guesswork.
- Shipped AI tools for support agents. Call transcription, RAG, OpenRouter and internal MCP tools bring the right customer context to agentic workflows automatically.
- Made the backend faster and cheaper. I built event-driven workflows on NestJS, MongoDB and Redis, tuned slow queries and cron jobs to cut server load, and consolidated Twilio, Plivo, AWS SES/S3 and Cloudflare Workers/R2 to trim external dependencies and cost.

Yadukrishna PB
AI full-stack developer. At Vidyalai I built the support platform ~2,000 students reached every day, owning features from schema to screen. I work with Claude Code and Codex to ship faster, and I'm most interested in agentic systems: agents that call real tools and have to get it right.

Full-stack, schema to screen: NestJS, MongoDB, Redis, React.
Work
Two years owning production systems end to end on small, fast-moving teams.
- Built features across the MERN stack (React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB) for a WhatsApp marketing platform.
- Wrote Cypress end-to-end tests reaching ~90% coverage of the targeted workflows.
- Debugged issues across frontend, API and database layers in production.
Projects
Things I built outside work, mostly around AI agents and adaptive learning.
verified-tool
A library that stops AI agents from re-running side effects after a lost response or a crash. It checks what actually happened before retrying and reports one of three outcomes to the model: verified, failed or unknown. Ships Postgres and Redis stores, a Vercel AI SDK adapter and an MCP proxy.

Adaptive maths tutor
A tutor for Class 3 maths where a Bayesian Knowledge Tracing engine and a prerequisite graph decide what to teach next, and the LLM only writes the words. Students answer on a whiteboard; pen strokes are recognised on the client with no vision model. Includes EM parameter fitting, forgetting decay and an eval harness with simulated students.

Job portal and resume toolkit
A job portal for seekers and employers that grew into my own job-search tool: an ATS resume checker, a tracker that pulls listings from several job boards on a schedule, and an Overleaf-style LaTeX resume builder that tailors a resume to a job description and keeps it to one page.

Digital outpass system
Replaced my college's paper outpass process with an app: students request leave, wardens approve it, and the gate checks the pass. Built in a hackathon and won first place.
